About Us

Our history

The West Collingswood Revitalization Committee formally reorganized and launched as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in fall 2025. Prior to this launch, the Committee served as part of the Collingswood Civic Collective.

Our mission

Our mission is to enhance the overall quality of life in the West Collingswood neighborhood. To achieve this mission, we focus on environmental sustainability, economic growth, and the creation of vibrant public spaces, collectively contributing to the revitalization and improvement of West Collingswood.

I moved to Collingswood, NJ, in 2013 after years of living and working in Philadelphia. I love the slower pace of life on this side of the bridge and the friendly, accepting community that I am now a part of.  I have two daughters who have attended Thomas Sharp Elementary School since preschool, and the oldest is now at the Middle School.  I own a mental health practice, Insight Mental Wellness, in Collingswood and have been able to use my background as a social worker to form West Collingswood Revitalization Committee. Putting my values back into my community is an important part of who I am, and I often encourage my therapy clients to find their own passions through civic engagement.

I’m a West side mom of 5, small businesses owner, artist and chef. I have a deep passion to use the arts to foster community growth and beauification. I enjoy spending my time supporting the Collingswood Youth Theater. I’m excited to use my background in restaurant management to serve as the Treasurer on the WCRC board.

I have lived in Collingswood for over a decade. My two children attend Sharp, and I am a member of the Sharp PTA, previously serving as the Corresponding Secretary. I love Collingswood and want to make it the best place it can be, whether through serving on the Board for WCRC, or as a newly elected member to the Collingswood Board of Education.

Professionally, I have 15+ years of experience working in proposals in the Education Industry at various companies including Pearson and Teachers Pay Teachers, among others.

I moved to West Collingswood over a decade ago with my husband, Nick, and have two kids at Sharp. We moved to Collingswood because we were excited about the quality and diversity of the schools and because it seemed like there was always something going on - from festivals and new shops opening, to opportunities to volunteer and get involved. I'm particularly excited for the opportunity to learn from neighbors and community members as we continue supporting and uplifting the West Collingswood community!

I am the owner of JS Fitness & Wellness, which is a Personal Training studio that takes pride in being a safe, inclusive, and comfortable space. I proudly offer affordable prices and no contracts- trying to offer fitness help to people in an extremely genuine and approachable way.  I also am extremely passionate about making positive impacts in the community.

I’m excited to be apart of the WCRC because I love the West Side of Collingswood, and am excited to continue to build a strong and kind community here.
